Dehydration and compaction

Serving the European food, beverage, dairy and pharmaceutical industries, the Revolution compaction technology removes  liquids from containers and densifies the residual packaging into volumes that can maximize shipping loads. This greatly reduces liquids going to landfill; maximizes the amount of dry material on each truck; and, because of the reduced need for trucking, dramatically reduces carbon emissions and highway congestion.

The Revolution press generates a dense cellulisic fiber plug ideal for gasification thermal conversion.

The Compactors are available in a range of sizes and throughputs designed for specific applications. The technology utilizes a unique advanced screw-auger technology, developed in the early 1990's. It has achieved compaction ratios of up to 60:1 and over 99 per cent liquid removal with lighter waste streams. The processing of dense materials such as wet brewer's grain has achieved up to 80 per cent removal of all liquids (i.e. except intracellular water) without thermal drying.

Conclusive trials have been conducted to successfully dewater multiple feedstocks such as chicken feathers, cardboard plant de-inking sludges, grey sludges, compost and wet bark.

The Revolution can dehydrate and compact MSW prior to transport.
